How the Program Works

GM Military Appreciation is the website where Southwest Florida veterans and active duty should go to get the process started. From there, there are three steps for you to pursue to get your bonus money:

  1. Check out the available vehicles and offers on the page. If you don’t see the vehicle that’s right for you, we suggest you check back at a later date because this roster is always updating. There will be vehicles from all General Motors brands, including Chevy, GMC, Buick, and Cadillac.
  2. Get an authorization number. GM uses ID.me to verify identity and eligibility in matters of veteran status. This is what you’ll need to get the bonus money on the GM vehicle of your choice.
  3. Locate the dealer of your choice. You can bring your bonus money over to Dixie Buick GMC, where you’ll be treated to a premier sales experience befitting someone who put everything on the line for the country they love, but there’s a wide world of GM dealerships all across the country ready to help you as well.
