Our overall experience at Dixie Buick was extremely pleasant. I was stress free, which is important to us.
I made an appointment to have routine maintenance done, oil change and tire rotation. My appointment was on March 6, 2025, at 1:30 pm. I got with an advisor when I arrived. Told the advisor I have a Maintenance Plan. I was told it would take 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Over 1 1/2 hours the advisor came and talked to me saying that I needed a new cabin air filter and had a tire with a nail in it. I told him that the tire had a slow leak since I bought the vehicle with no luck from the Service Department to find the issue. He gave me prices on taking care of both issues. I denied his recommendations. So, after almost 2 1/2 hours, he said my vehicle was ready. I go up to the cashier and she told me that it would be $98.95. I told her that I had told the advisor that I had a Maintenance Plan, she went and checked with him and came back telling me that I did have a Maintenance Plan. This is the third time in a row that I had to correct your service department about my Maintenance Plan. You could take this one way and saying that your dealership is trying to extort money from customers. Then, to top this off, when I went to my car to leave, I found the glove box on the floorboard and the filter on the seat. I am not sure what kind of business you are trying to run here but it does not seem that you really care about your customers. I am very disappointed in your dealership. The service Manager did want to talk to me, but due to the 2 1/2 hours that it did take I did not have the time due to another commitment. I would like to see you buy my vehicle back to totally end this relationship.

Tried to get a price for a service after 6phone calls no one answered phone’s reception did after 10 rings never did get a answer Tried the chat never got back with me I will go elsewhere
Doug P service advisor does it again with his team of Tech's . I didn't have an appointment for service, i was in the area so i stopped in to make an appointment. Its tourist snowbird season so it can be a week or 2 to get scheduled which is understandable. Happens every year. Doug said I can get this done now how long do you have and do you mind waiting. I t way approximately 1140 am. I explained to Doug I had to be to my next stop by 3;30 pm as they close at 4 pm. I sat down had a water Yeti tumbler with me. So i grabbed a chocolate chip cookie the GMC DIXIE usually has free of charge. I have a 7lb dog named Buster with me each time I visit and 1 of the other Dixie GMC representative "John n Parts" always greets Buster and gives him a little treat. "Honestly I get treated better here at GMC DIXIE Ft Myers than the BMW Dealer just down the street even some family member or friends" LOL It goes without saying if you don't have a few complaints you are not doing any business. Unfortunately you can not satisfy everyone all the time!!! Yes we all make mistakes, yes even the GMC personal on occasions. HEY What happened to us as a society seems like if we can't complain we don't have much to say especially since covid. That said, I see, observe a strong effort to make things RIGHT from the Service Department, Manager Service writers and so on. Mistakes do happen its the opportunity to then make then right that counts.. I've made a living in the Service Industry Business I didn't have anything else to sell but service. No Tires No tune-ups No Refrigerators I provided Flooring Warehousing & Installations for Home Depot, Lowes and several hotel chains 36 E 350 Ford Vans /trucks + 100 employees and sub contractors. DIXIE GMC steps up to the highest standards I've seen in the Auto Service business. Ill repeat myself, I get better service from Dixie GMC than I ever pray to get from BMW Dealer just down the street. The Genesis dealer treats us better than BMW. Now I drive all the way down to Naples area for BMW Service The selling Used or New vehicles is the easy part, it's the service Dept that keeps you coming back. Dixie GMC does just that! Last said I didn't purchase my 2023 GMC 3500 Denali from Dixie GMC they didn't have any in stock after Hurricane Ian my 2021 F250 was totaled. Provide Great Customer Service to maintain a strong honest effort as best as possible for each customer that walks in during my visits and observation. Did not have an appointment but they were still able to work me in. Great
Was happy with sales and financial but service and general manager never respond to phone calls. Had issues with a simple brake squeak and have had to wait hours for simple come back another time to get fixed. Been there 3 times now and still no fix. Waiting now for second set of brakes . Never has parts in stock. Wait 3 or for hours to be told nothing but will call you when parts arrive. Simple brake pads are being replaced again when that doesn’t fix anything. I had my vehicle serviced about two weeks ago soon as I got it back to the check engine air filter system light come on. I took it back the following Thursday they simply reset it apparently did not look into the problem. It’s back on again. I’ve gotta drop it off on Monday, November 4 and I will tell them about it again and yet to get anyone to share previous history on this vehicle my next step will be the federal law. I know Florida does not carry one, but the federal does inside the warranty of the vehicle.

DO NOT GO HERE! My car sat for two days and they did not touch it. Something wrong with anti theft system. Car will stall in the middle of traffic. They over book their service department and do not seem to have a system that works complete chaotic situation. They need a complete overhaul of the service department! Will not buy a car here ever again.

I dropped off my suv off Thursday night.Had appointment for Friday at 9am noon came no word I called and called could not get through advisor and when I finally did left message and he said he would look into it and call me right back long story short the weekend came my vehicle sat there for (4) days the problem I was having is still going on I called advisor to let him know and he has yet not heard back from him smh
Set an 8:30 appointmentfor a transmission service. They took me in at 8:30. My truck sat parked until I said something at 10:15. I was told there was one ahead of me, but I was next. Why set an appointment, only to have to wait in line. Service writer was very dry. Minimal interaction. I also thought that an automatic transmission service meant dropping the pan and changing the filter and the fluid. Not so! they only flush out the old fluid with a cleaner and then refill it with new fluid. Not what I expected for the price they charge. I will do it right myself next time. Probably will not return to this dealer.
DO NOT GO HERE to get your car serviced. My husband and I brought car in to be serviced back in May after our car wouldn't start. Had the car towed to the dealership, we checked in later that day for any kind of estimate for when we could expect them to take a look at the car. Never got an answer so we arranged for a rental. The service center arranged the rental with hertz. We were told multiple times from Dixie and Hertz that the car was going to be covered by Dixie. Great. We pick up the rental car thinking we'll only have it for maybe 3 days. Nope. That's how long it took them to even take a LOOK at the car. There was extremely poor communication on their part to let us know what was even going on. They never followed up we always had to call for any kind of update. Finally, after getting basically no updates from them, they reach out to let us know the issue and proceed to take another 3 days to fix it. We return the rental car again with the assurance that it will be covered. Almost 3 months later, I received a charge from Hertz for $264.00. I have no idea what this could be about and lo and behold it was for the 6 days we had the rental car back in May. I have been trying to get a hold of manager at the Dixie Service Center for two days trying to figure out what is going on, left multiple messages with the manager and he has refused thus far to call us back. I am livid. Dixie Buick LIED to us multiple times that they would be covering the rental. It took 3 full days for them to even LOOK at our car and to make matters worse we had to take the car back in again a week later because the battery went which is something they should have checked when we brought the car in the previous week. Dealing with this place has been one of the worst, most stressful experiences of our lives. Utterly abysmal service and horrible business practices. I am still waiting for any kind of explanation from them as to why we were lied to multiple times regarding the rental coverage. I cannot stress this enough, Do not go to Dixie Buick GMC Fort Myers. You be in for nothing but stress, headaches, and a constant drain on your wallet.
Dixie service is always at capacity and they cannot sufficiently handle the volume of cars. The area desperately needs another GMC dealer.
I got appointment for 8am 8/5/24 I was called after 2pm to let me know the issue was due to short circuit in under hood fuse box and that was replaced with a new one, I agreed and paid the bill over the phone, agreeing to pickup my cart later due to personal reasons they said will let the receipt inside the car. When I arrived to pick up the car I looked under the hood to see the new part and realized that it wasn't changed, I took pictures showing dried tree leaf inside the part that and lot of dust that clearly shows, the part being an electronic part, that it wasn't changed at all. All that was while the service department was closing due to the time about 6pm and I only got to speak to Mike and tell him about the issue and that I want to speak to service manager, I told with be coming in a couple of days to speak with him due that I have to work the next day. Today 8/8/24 i went there and spoke to service manager that was very rude and refused to give me his name or business card. I showed him the part and even took out with my hand once of the dry tree leaf there and showed him the dust all over the part, he said I was insulting him but I told him that was all the opposite, he bring out a different part (the battery junction box that also have some fuses) out of the box to show me that the dust was normal when the part that he took out the box clearly show not dust at all like the same one under my hood, still not the same part that we were talking initially but he said that was die to a mistake on the service representant when writing the invoice... I told him that neither of the parts under my hood, not the one that they stated in the invoice to had changed, not the one that he stated verbally to me to have been actually supposedly changed... none of them had actually being changed because they both looks used, dusty and in no way anything close to the one he took out the box, he even told me why if i know so much about parts I didn't do it myself... that was a lack of character on his side, I answer that I have money enough for paying them to do it instead. I was smoking near my car that was parked near the smoking area where several other were smoking when he arrived with one of the part and asked me to open my car hood again to take pictures him self i did and when I was there he tell me your cigarette smoke is on my face, I told him, them move away because you are the one that are coming here into my car and next to me if you do not like it just move away, he was very unprofessional and not only I convinced he knew I had being ripoff but his explanations were all absurd and insulting, is this kind of persons that make customers to lost fate in car dealers service department, I will be filing a complain with the credit card and disputing the charges.
